We are looking to appoint a skilled, committed and enthusiastic member of staff for the above position in January 2019. St. John Fisher is an 11-18 comprehensive school with a rich Catholic ethos. There are 700 students on roll including the Sixth Form. The school was rebuilt in 2009, as a result of which we have excellent facilities and well-equipped rooms. The school was judged Good by Ofsted in November 2017 and Outstanding by the Diocese in December 2013. Visits to the school are welcome.

St John Fisher Catholic High School is a co-educational voluntary aided school based in Peterborough for students aged 11-18. It is a Roman Catholic school.
The school has a vertical tutoring system, meaning tutor groups consist of a mixture of students from Year 7 to Year 13. There are 32 tutor groups with an average number of 20 to 25 students in each group.
The school’s sports facilities include a floodlit pitch, tennis and netball courts and a sports hall. The school also has a strong tradition in music, both vocal and instrumental, and has several rooms where students can practice.

Consequently, the school’s merit system has been reviewed and updated and students who perform to a high standard throughout the year will be given the opportunity for a reward visit to a theme park. The school’s house system is also intended to provide a community spirit for the students and competitive events.
