We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join us in the role of Teacher of Art/Photography working at Studio@Deyes.   This is a full time/fixed term position.

The Studio@Deyes is a co-educational, non-denominational 14-19 studio school in Liverpool. The school is one of only 36 Studio Schools nationwide, and is provisioned to teach up to 300 students the skills required for successful careers in Engineering, Textiles and Business. The school has its own large car park, and is 150m from Wavertree Technology Park Station. The school is located in Wavertree, which has a population of 14,800 and is home to many students who study at one of Liverpool’s three universities.

Studio@Deyes works closely with employer partners to ensure that students not only receive a full educational experience which ensures their academic progress, but prioritises their social and emotional advancement. Students are encouraged to bring their passion for one of the school’s vocational pathways, as staff work with them to turn a passion into a profession.

The school prepares its students as market leaders in careers from Civil Engineering through to Fashion Buying. Employers work in tandem with Studio@Deyes to ensure students gain essential real-world experience through enterprise projects and work placements.

Personal learning is central to the mission of Studio@Deyes. Each student receives one-on-one coaching. These coaching sessions ensure students develop their ability to identify learning barriers and create solutions. Personal coaches foster the individual needs of each student to match, and surpass, their aims.
