Job overview
Due to the promotion of a current art teacher, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Art from September 2018. The ability to teach photography would be an advantage. The role would suit a Newly Qualified Teacher or a more experienced colleague. A TLR is available for an individual with experience and a proven track record of success.
Candidates must be able to teach across the age and ability range, supporting the development of art to the highest standards for all pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4. Standards of art have improved significantly over the last three years and our courses are very popular with Key Stage 4 pupils.
The ideal candidate will be:
- passionate about the teaching of art
- an established, excellent teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher with the drive and determination to develop his / her skills within our outstanding CPA Team
- committed to providing the highest quality teaching for all of our pupils at the academy
- able to build strong, professional relationships with our pupils so that they achieve excellent outcomes
