A well-qualified graduate with proven artistic flair, inspiring and good presentation and exhibition skills; is required to teach Art on a part time basis from September 2020. 

Candidates should have good subject knowledge with experience of teaching GCSE Art essential; and to A-level an advantage; up to date knowledge of curriculum requirements; ability to handle a wide range of artistic media; methodical assessment and recording of pupil progress setting clear objectives for future development.  Additionally, competency in Photoshop would be advantageous.

They will have the ability to encourage and motivate pupils across the range of artistic ability; developing links with external sources of inspiration, including trips to galleries etc where appropriate; facilitate differentiation within the classroom. 

NQTs are also welcome to apply; the College has a comprehensive induction programme leading to full QTS status. Single accommodation may be available. Princethorpe has its own pay scale which is above national scales.
