Craigholme is a Senior School for girls, with a coeducational Nursery and Junior School.  Founded in 1884, Craigholme is the only remaining all-girls senior school in the West of Scotland.  We strongly believe in our small class, single-sex approach and our girls’ academic performance is proof of its value.

We seek a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Biology and Science to teach classes from J7 up to S3 National 5 Biology level.

Biology operates within the Faculty of Science, Maths and Numeracy.

The post is part-time and would suit either a new or an experienced teacher.

The school aims to bring out the best in every pupil, combining high standards of teaching and a superb extra-curricular programme within an inclusive and caring ethos. Art, drama, music, public speaking and sport flourish, together with a range of clubs and societies. A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school is essential.

The salary is in line with SNCT rates and will be dependent on experience.

The post is tenable from approximately 7 January 2019.
