We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated teacher with the expertise to teach OCR ‘A’ Level Biology within our successful and growing department. You will have the skills and abilities to provide an outstanding student experience through teaching, learning and assessment, enabling students to maximise their potential. We are looking for an innovative and committed classroom practitioner who would work collaboratively with the team, the post holder will play a key role in inspiring students to engage with the subject material and to participate actively in lessons. As a committed and dedicated teacher, the post holder will contribute to all aspects of the curriculum, ensuring students benefit from a high-quality learning experience. In addition, the successful candidate may need to contribute to the teaching of GCSE Science, or Biology Units for the BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science.

·        Salary: Sixth Form Colleges Teachers pay scale £30,500 - £47,133 (FTE) Depending on experience

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures.
