Job overview

We are looking to appoint inspiring and enthusiastic Teachers of Science to join our busy Science faculty.

We are looking to make two appointments: one full-time and the other part-time.  The successful candidates will be passionate about Science and have the capacity to support pupils to enjoy and achieve in the subject(s) across the Senior School, including in public examinations.

These vacancies arise as a result of growth of pupil numbers throughout the School, as a consequence of offering both triple and double award science at IGCSE, and due to strong pupil recruitment into Science at A level.  Therefore, the ability and willingness to teach one Science to A level and a second to IGCSE level is advantageous.

About the School:

Established in 1874, Croydon High School prides itself on its innovative approach and friendly atmosphere. The School is located in Selsdon, south of Croydon, on a beautiful campus.  Croydon High is made up of students from a broad and culturally diverse range of backgrounds and the school recognises and hugely values the positive impact this has on all who teach and learn here.

Benefits:

As part of the GDST, the UK's leading network of independent girls' schools, we can offer a variety of benefits, such as:

  • Competitive salaries and pay progression
  • Access to extensive professional development opportunities
  • Training grants for qualifications
  • Generous pension schemes
