Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Biology at a Independent school in Wandsworth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an inspirational Biology teacher to join a thriving Science department.
As a key member of our teaching community, you will play a key role challenging, engaging and inspiring our pupils to achieve their full potential in the subject of Biology.
The success of our Science teaching at the School is down to the combination of teachers with a deep knowledge and love of their subject, and our motivated pupils with high aspirations. The role would suit a teacher who can deliver enthusiastic and engaging Biology teaching and encourage in all pupils a curiosity about the world around them, and the knowledge and skills to describe and understand it.
As well as delivering excellent classroom teaching, all staff at the school undertake a pastoral role (as a form tutor, or as a co-tutor if an ECT) and get involved in the wider life of the school through co-curricular activities and outreach programmes.
If you are an inspirational practitioner with Qualified Teacher Status and an excellent track record of teaching Biology and/or Science at secondary level, they would love to hear from you.
