Job overview
Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools, part of the LGS Trust.
Due to retirement, from September 2020 we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher to join our talented Biology team and to play a full part in school and departmental life. The person will offer both A level and GCSE Biology, and strength in both these areas will be essential. The ability to teach another science subject up to KS3 or KS4 could be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
A completed application form and curriculum vitae, accompanied by a covering letter addressed to Mr John Watson (Headmaster and Principal of Leicester Grammar School Trust), should reach the school as soon as possible, and no later than 9am on Tuesday 28 January 2020, interviews will be held on Wednesday 5 February 2020.
Applications should be emailed to Mrs Erica Parsons, HR Administrator, at parsonse@leicestergrammar.org.uk. There is no need to send a hard copy at this stage.
Leicester Grammar School Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and this is reflected in its recruitment procedures. Successful candidates for posts are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure.
