Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Biology to join a forward thinking Science team, to teach Year 7 up to A Level as part of our Senior School. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Biology, a good level of current subject knowledge and experience of teaching Biology to public examination classes.

The department consists of eleven graduate teachers (four Biologists, one being part-time, three Chemists and four Physicists, one being part-time) and three experienced full-time technicians. The Head of Science (also the Head of Biology) has overall responsibility for Science teaching from Years 7 – 13 and she works closely with the Heads of Chemistry and Physics.

The role is part time commanding a 0.6 timetable, increasing to 0.8 September 2020.
