Applications are invited for the above post at this popular and successful secondary school on the edge of the pleasant market town of Belper. Applicants should have the ability to teach across the full 11-18 age and ability range and display an informed understanding of effective learning and teaching.
The Science Faculty, which is accommodated in a suite of 10 modern laboratories, is a lively and successful team dedicated to high quality teaching and learning. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach Biology or Chemistry to A Level and their second subject to GCSE.
This position would be suitable for an experienced teacher or a NQT, for whom there would be ample opportunity to develop professional skills within our highly supportive Induction, CPD and/or NQT programmes.
