TGGS is a girls’ 11-18 selective Academy which has the core aim of preparing our students for their next steps in life.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen to be a part-time teacher of Biology in our award-winning school. The successful candidate will teach Science at KS3 and their subject specialism at KS4 and KS5. If you are an energetic and committed teacher then join a forward thinking and thriving department committed to nurturing a love of Science in our students.

What We’re Looking For 

• A good Honours degree in a Science-related subject and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or BEd). (Essential)      
• Subject knowledge sufficient to challenge the most able students up to A Level. (Essential)      
• An enthusiastic approach to teaching & learning, and maximising the full potential of all students. Ability to motivate and inspire students and parents. (Essential)
