Congleton High School (CHS), a member of The Learning Alliance Trust, is a rural school located in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Congleton High School is seeking to appoint a highly qualified and inspirational teacher of Boys PE from September 2022. The successful candidate will be joining an outstanding department which has an excellent reputation within the local area. You will be expected to teach across the full age range up to A-Level. A commitment to further development and to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme is essential.

An interest in Football is preferred but not essential. 

The school has excellent sporting facilities, including a 3G pitch, sports hall, fitness suite, gym and extensive fields. In summer 2018, Congleton High School achieved the highest Progress 8 score in Cheshire and has an impressive track record of high academic achievement. The school has a strong Staff Development and Induction Programme embedded, and places high importance on the well-being of staff. This role would be suitable for a qualified teacher or ambitious NQT.
