Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly-motivated Teacher of Boys’ PE to join our passionate, innovative and busy team in a school where sports facilities are exceptional. For example, we are fortunate to have a 400m synthetic running track, large indoor sports hall with gym, dance studio and climbing wall and  our own swimming pool amongst our facilities. You should be inspirational to students encouraging all to achieve in sport. All staff are expected to be actively involved in delivering a well-structured extra-curricular programme and regularly coach and accompany students to fixtures.  An interest and experience in delivery of rugby union would be highly advantageous.

The PE department currently consists of four full-time members of staff and one part-time member of staff all of whom teach core PE across the curriculum to Key Stage 3 and 4 and have responsibility in delivering the wide variety of examination subjects on offer.  Students achieve highly in comparison to National standards in GCSE, A Level and BTEC.
