Required from 28th August 2018 in this outstanding, very successful 11-16 mixed academy.
This outstanding Academy is inviting applications from ambitious, well qualified and highly motivated candidates who are passionate, enthusiastic and eager to teach KS3, KS4 and GCSE Physical Education in a very successful PE Department. Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
Hodgson Academy has been designated as one of the first wave of National Teaching Schools. This post will add capacity in PE to help deliver our commitment to further raising attainment at Hodgson and beyond.
Results in 2017 included 82% Basic Measures, 86% of the students achieved a grade 4 or above in Mathematics, 89% in English and 96% PE GCSE Grade A*-C
ICT within and across the curriculum is a major focus and all teaching staff are issued with a personal laptop on appointment.
