St Joseph's College is a vibrant independent day and boarding school in Ipswich providing a broad and seamless education for over 600 boys and girls aged 3 - 18. We are looking to appoint an exceptional and innovative full-time Teacher of PE with experience of delivering GCSE and/ or BTEC Sport, teaching and coaching across the full age range and ability of Years 7 – 13. We envisage the candidate to be focused on developing a rugby coaching career within education and educational setting.
St Joseph’s College prides itself on its holistic approach of delivering and managing and ‘Excellent’ education whilst supporting student athletes in participatory sporting activity through to Internationally Honours. The College is uniquely placed to support an outstanding teacher of physical education with a specialism in Rugby Union. The candidate will hold relevant teaching qualifications, have experience of coaching rugby and for the right candidate will be considered for the post of Assistant Head of Rugby. As such the candidate will play a significant role in the future development of Rugby which is one of four performance Sports at the College.
A boarding role and boarding accommodation may also be available for the right candidate.
