We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of Business and Economics to join an upcoming English International School in Democratic Republic of Congo in the city of Lubumbashi.
The absence of quality English Education for ex-pats and locals urged the opening of an education system that meets the international standards. We are expecting an enthusiastic and very capable student body, coming from Congolese families as well as from the ex-pat and international communities, and pupils shall leave BIS for leading universities in the UK, USA and around the world.

We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Business and Economics who is truly enthusiastic about these subjects. You should have excellent subject knowledge and be capable of teaching from Year 10 up to A level. What we really want is someone who can really excite and inspire our pupils, bringing the worlds of business and economics to life. You must be able to support each individual’s growth and development, encouraging and inspiring them to achieve and be the best they can be. You do not need to have had experience in the independent sector.
We will also expect you to participate in and contribute to the life of the School as a whole. This will be enjoyable because of the happy, collegiate atmosphere, and we have a wide range of pastoral programmes and extra-curricular activities.
Our staff shall enjoy excellent working conditions including accommodation, a generous and comprehensive reward package, and significant amounts of personal and professional development.
