Teacher of Business and Economics

Emanuel SchoolWandsworth

Do you want to share your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for business and economics with motivated and interested pupils?

This is a key role in our school and would suit someone with a natural enthusiasm for their subject and an ability to deliver engaging teaching to all pupils. You will deliver excellence in teaching (particularly at A level), based on a deep knowledge of business/economics, and its pedagogy, and create a challenging and stimulating classroom climate that will motivate pupils to learn and perform to the best of their abilities.

We welcome applications from NQTs and recent graduates, as well as those with longer experience. The ability to offer a second subject would be a real advantage. Naturally we expect all staff to undertake a pastoral role as a form tutor, and to get involved in the wider life of the school through its trips, co-curricular activities and outreach programmes.

You can find more detailed information about a role within the school in our 'Working at Emanuel' guide.
