As a successful sixth form with a long standing tradition of A level delivery, Clarendon Sixth Form started life in Hyde in 1957 as Hyde Grammar School. It became a Sixth Form College in 1979 and relocated to Ashton town centre in 2015.

Joining us as a Teacher, you will teach on Level 2 & 3 Business related programmes and vocational level one to three business programmes and must contribute to the classroom experience of our talented and enthusiastic learners, within a hardworking team with high standards. As a highly engaged and motivated Teacher, you will have a genuine desire to improve the life chances of our learners. The Sixth Form has an excellent reputation, and this is a real opportunity for you to make a difference in people’s lives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated individual, with a relevant degree or professional qualification at level 4 or above coupled with experience of BTEC methods of assessment and of delivering level 2 & 3 Business programs.  With a successful track record of teaching in a sixth form, school or further education college, you will be experienced in providing for the needs of learners with a focus on delivering outstanding learning experiences and be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.

You will plan and deliver study programmes using a wide range of strategies to meet individual learner needs and act as a subject or personal tutor.
