The International School of Monaco is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Teacher of IBDP Business with Economics. This position is available from August 22nd 2024.

There is a possibility of "Head of Social Studies Department" role for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate.

The candidate will be expected to teach IBDP Economics and/or Enterprise/Business BTEC (Level 3 International Extended Diploma) Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and/or another subject. 

The candidate will have high expectations of student learning and behavior and will join a caring and experienced team.

They will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team of reflective teachers who are fully committed to academic excellence within a supportive and caring environment.

ISM and King’s College School, Wimbledon are “sister schools”, with day-to-day interaction taking place between staff and students at both schools and the sharing of outstanding practice in all areas.

Qualifications:

  • a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a respected university
  • recognised teaching status
  • previous experience in teaching IBDP Economics 
  • previous experience of teaching BTEC Level 3 or equivalent would be an advantage
  • previous experience in teaching IBDP Business would be an advantage

Founded in 1994, the International School of Monaco (ISM) is an independent, co-educational, not-for-profit day school in Monaco. Monaco is an extremely safe city with a wealth of cultural and sporting activities such as art, opera, cinema, the Grand Prix and tennis, to name a few.
