Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Business Studies and Economics to support our expansion and provision across this phase of the school.

The Post

Hartland International School is seeking an experienced Business and Economics teacher to join a growing department. The department runs successful GCSE, A-Level and BTEC Level-3 courses, creating innovative learning opportunities and enabling students to develop real-world understanding to enhance their knowledge and skills. 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals who are passionate and forward thinking and who will thrive in the vibrant learning environment of Hartland. By being ambitious, not only for students but for yourself, you will help us build and maintain a successful programme of study in Business Studies and Economics by sharing in the responsibility for teaching, learning, enrichment and pastoral care. The successful candidate will also be expected to make a contribution to our unique and strong enrichment programme which ensures that learning and opportunity are diverse for all. 

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification

• Have experience of teaching Business Studies and Economics whether that be in the UK or in an international setting

• Have a minimum 2 years teaching experience

• Have experience of teaching to A-Level and / or experience of BTEC

• Have exceptional communication skills

• Be committed to the Hartland Values which can be found on our website
