Bacon’s College is seeking to appoint a talented, committed, ambitious and dynamic individual who can offer vision, energy and creativity in the teaching of Business Studies and Economics, and support the Curriculum team in the further development of the department.
Bacon’s is a Church of England sponsored academy with a strong values based ethos, it is a popular and oversubscribed school. The College is currently facing a challenging period of cultural change and a revitalisation of its core activity of teaching and learning. Staff and students will be challenged and supported to achieve at the highest levels both academically and personally.
The Business and Economics department is well staffed and resourced for the delivery of Key Stage 4 GCSE courses in Business Studies, Key Stage 5 A Level Business Studies and Economics and Level 3 vocational Business Studies.
The successful candidate will be:
