New Rickstones Academy is graded ‘Good’ (May 2018) and has a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. We have a committed and ambitious team and have been very successful at developing teachers and leaders with progression both within and beyond the academy.  Over the last 6 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is now oversubscribed and we have a new build in progress to further increase student numbers to meet demand. New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive staff team. Staff numbers have also increased and the academy is proud to boast high staff retention rates. Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff. 

We are seeking to appoint a Business Studies teacher on a full time basis. If you are driven, and passionate about Business then we want to hear from you! We welcome applications from ECTs/ trainee teachers looking for their first teaching position.

We are looking for:

• Energy and enthusiasm to deliver lessons that will engage, enthuse and motivate our learners to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• A drive for continuous improvement to help maintain an outstanding Business department.
• Relevant qualifications and a record of professional development (both formal and through appropriate experience) to meet the challenge of the job specification.
• A genuine commitment to making a positive contribution to the academy.
