Teacher of Business Studies

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring teacher to join our team. To deliver our high standard of educational excellence, our teachers are well-qualified, confident, well-organised, have a good sense of humour and participate fully in all aspects of school life within and beyond the classroom. We are now looking for a like-minded colleague to join our school.

At Key Stage 4, a large proportion of students choose to take Business Studies to GCSE. Our Sixth Form students follow the IB Diploma Programme with a significant proportion completing a bilingual Diploma. Business and Management is a popular choice, reflecting the interest in international business among our students.

The ideal candidate should:

  • be able, ideally, to teach Business Studies to KS4 and Business & Management to IB Diploma level;
  • if possible, offer at least one other subject at KS3.
  • be highly motivated and an excellent classroom practitioner, with the ability to inspire and engage students;
  • be highly ICT literate;
  • be able to offer one or more extra-curricular activities;
  • be enthusiastic, energetic and committed to children of all abilities;
  • have a strong commitment to high standards of teaching and learning;
  • have experience of delivering the English National Curriculum, GCSE/IGCSE and, ideally, the IB Diploma Programme or equivalent post-16 courses.
