We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious Teacher of Business Studies at St Andrew’s. This is a great opportunity to join a very strong department. We have 5 specialist Business Studies teacher and are looking to add another to our excellent team in this fast growing subject area. Business is a very popular subject at GCSE and at A Level. The results at all levels are excellent. At GCSE we have approximately 100 students taking GCSE Business each year with over well over 90% achieving Grade 4+ (100% in 2022 and 96% in 2023). We also run a popular Level 2 BTEC Business course with similar success. At A Level it is also a popular subject and we have groups studying A Level and BTEC courses. Year 12 and 13 each have about 70 students. The results are similarly strong with 100% A*-C at A Level and 100% merit/distinction in BTEC. This post would suit an NQT or a more experienced teacher.

St Andrew’s Catholic School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in Leatherhead, Surrey. It is a community state school which has strong links to local churches and falls under the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. The school provides 1290 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18.
A school that consists of three buildings, the central school building dates back to the 1950s, while its new building opened in 2018.
