Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Trinity Academy is a mixed, secondary comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in close proximity to Edinburgh’s Victoria Park. It is a mainstream state school. The Scottish government website identifies a total of 811 places it is currently offering to secondary school students between the ages of 11-18.
The school history goes back to 1893, when Craighall Road School was opened. By 1901, it had become the Trinity Academy and merged with David Kilpatrick’s in 1974 to become fully comprehensive.
