The Role

At Creators International School (Creators), we believe that studying STEM subjects is the key to understanding the world around us. We seek a visionary chemistry and biology teacher with an unwavering passion for developing innovative learning through nurturing technology, research and inquiry skills, knowledge and understanding, and who will inspire and guide our students. You will also be responsible for fostering students’ passion for learning, and creating an engaging and dynamic classroom environment, where students feel empowered to develop their STEM skills, apply them effectively and realise their dreams and aspirations. You will also nurture a spirit of entrepreneurism and creativity to enable our students to be the tech pioneers of tomorrow.

Person Profile and Qualifications

·    Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

·    Should have an EU passport or already have the right to work in Spain.

·    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry and/or biology.

·    Valid Teaching Qualification - PGCE/BEd or equivalent, EU-recognised preferred.

·    Strong experience in international schools, with experience of teaching chemistry and biology, including a track record of success in international examinations.

·    Strong knowledge of, and experience of teaching inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based and research skills, and their application in real-world contexts.

·    Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.

·    Accomplished in using technology and digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.

·    Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in chemistry and biology education.
