This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Chemistry to join a lively and enthusiastic Science Department in one of the UK’s leading schools, where Chemistry is a popular subject.

You will teach Chemistry to highly motivated and talented pupils from Year 7 to 13, planning and preparing courses and lessons according to their educational needs and providing guidance and advice on their further education and future careers. You will also share in the preparation for Oxbridge and the British Chemistry Olympiad.

You will be joining a Chemistry team of four full-time teachers, one part-time teacher and the Head of Chemistry. All teachers are expected to attend weekly Chemistry departmental meetings and are also expected to take a positive and active interest in the smooth running of the department.

This ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher, with a proven track record. However, applications would also be welcome from NQTs and those looking to begin a career in teaching. If you show considerable initiative and are prepared to innovate both in the classroom and in Chemistry, we would be delighted to hear from you.
