Lawrence Sheriff School is an outstanding boys’ grammar school of approximately 1000 students, over 350 of whom are in our coeducational sixth form. As a National Teaching School we play a significant role of initial teacher training and continuous professional development across the region. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Chemistry to teach at all levels within the school and supporting the further development of outstanding teaching and learning within the Science Faculty. You will also be involved with the delivery of Biology and Physics when teaching year 7 and 8.
The successful individual will be an inspirational and innovative teacher who wishes to make use of a fantastic opportunity to further their career within an outstanding school.
Whether an NQT or more experienced, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in helping promote and enable students to become effective, enthusiastic and independent learners.
