Sharnbrook Upper School is set within attractive rural surroundings and is highly regarded within Bedfordshire as providing excellent opportunities for pupils currently aged 13 to 18.  We are looking forward to becoming Sharnbrook Academy and moving to secondary status from September 2017, when our students will join the school from the age of 11. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, cohesive science team working within a superb science centre comprising 17 laboratories, a seminar room and large science activity area and who have high aspirations for its students and a commitment to supporting and developing its staff. You should be a professional, enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of chemistry who can inspire students in their learning, deliver enjoyable but challenging lessons up to GCSE and A level and continue our tradition of developing fantastic opportunities for students by sharing ideas and collaborating in the development and review of new schemes of work and new ways of working. You will also provide support to students through our vertical tutoring system.
