St Andrew's Catholic School is looking to appoint an exceptional and dynamic Teacher of Chemistry to join our outstanding Science Department. The team of 10 specialist science teachers are supported by two excellent technicians. Science results at GCSE and at A Level are very strong with half of the students sitting separate sciences at GCSE. All three sciences are very popular at A Level with well over 90% of all grades at A*-C for the past five years. This role would suit an NQT where you would be joining a great team who would provide you with the support you need in your first few years of teaching or a more experienced teacher who would like to play an important role in helping our Science Department develop further.

St Andrew’s Catholic School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in Leatherhead, Surrey. It is a community state school which has strong links to local churches and falls under the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. The school provides 1290 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18.
A school that consists of three buildings, the central school building dates back to the 1950s, while its new building opened in 2018.
