St Albans School seeks to appoint a well-qualified graduate to join our successful and forward-looking Science Faculty that makes a strong contribution to the School’s reputation for academic excellence. The ability to teach Chemistry to A level and Physics to at least GCSE level is a requirement of the post.
All members of staff are expected to contribute to the School’s extensive co-curricular programme.
The School has its own salary structure based on, but substantially above, national scales and a wide range of opportunities for advancement beyond the basic pay scale.
St Albans is a beautiful Cathedral city, with a lively cultural life, surrounded by countryside but only 20 minutes from London by train, with easy access to motorways and airports. School accommodation may be available.
