The Headmaster wishes to appoint a dynamic and well-qualified graduate to join the Classics Department from September 2019.
The successful candidate will be able to teach Latin and Classical Civilisation to A Level and will also possess an obvious passion for the classical world. Although not essential, the ability to teach Ancient Greek would be helpful. A willingness to teach English lessons to a small number of junior classes is also advantageous.
The capacity and imagination to inspire, guide and challenge boys of all ages and abilities is essential, as is the enthusiasm to contribute to the breadth of opportunities in this full boarding school. Previous boarding experience is not required. Applications from teachers from both the independent and maintained sectors are welcomed.
