Teacher of Computer Science

Full Time (Part Time would be considered for the right applicant)

We wish to appoint a well-qualified and innovative graduate to join a well-resourced Computer Science department in this thriving and dynamic girls’ school. The School will consider applications from teachers new to the profession as well as experienced professionals. 

The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and will have the capacity to support students to enjoy and achieve. You will be expected to teach Computer Science up to A Level and be prepared to assist pupils applying to study Computer Science related subjects at universities including the most prestigious universities. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of the department and curriculum, help to identify and deliver new and exciting opportunities for the pupils and be both a confident technologist and a classroom practitioner. In particular, you will help the Head of Department to grow significantly the profile of Computer Science, a subject which is key to the successful delivery of the school’s strategic plan. The appointed candidate will also play a leading role in the thriving extra-curricular life of the School.
