The successful candidate will join the Computer Science and ICT department at The Long Eaton School. We are looking to appoint a knowledgeable and passionate teacher, who be able to integrate into our friendly existing department, understand the context of the school, and continue to support our students learning. The Long Eaton School is built on a long tradition of academic success; our students are bright, ambitious and well behaved. We have gained an excellent reputation for the quality of our educational provision and our developments in Literacy and Numeracy have earned the school the prestigious Quality Mark and our approaches have been shared nationally as a model of good practice. We are located in the heart of Long Eaton and are easily commutable from locations such as Nottingham, Derby and North Leicestershire.

We are proud to form part of Archway Learning Trust, previously Bluecoat Academies Trust, which was formed in April 2014 as a result of the very long and successful history of Bluecoat Academy. The Trust is a vibrant learning community where staff are well supported, students are cared for, receive a high quality education and experience every opportunity to be successful.
