Priory is a very successful school with an excellent reputation. The school is consistently oversubscribed yet has a genuinely comprehensive intake and we have a commitment to raising standards through quality teaching and learning.
The Governors seek to appoint a dynamic and innovative temporary, part-time (0.6 fte), teacher of Computer Science to work 3 days within our excellent Computing Curriculum Area. Each member of the Curriculum Area is seen as an integral part of the team, working together, sharing ideas and developing resources.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach KS3 Computing and have the ability to teach GCSE Computer Science (Programming and Theory). The department also delivers Creative iMedia in KS4 and a Music Technology course in conjunction with the music department. Excellent knowledge of Python is essential.

We have an excellent NQT induction programme to offer support to new staff as well as a whole school commitment to professional development, as we believe that development of staff is a key aspect in raising standards for our students.
The commencement date is September 2019 or January 2020 until August 2020. Teachers main/upper pay scale, £14,232 to £23,643 a year for (0.6 fte).
