We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified graduate to join our recently-established and forward looking Computer Science department.

Computer Science is an increasingly popular subject at GCSE level (CIE IGCSE Computer Science) and there are plans to develop the subject further in the Sixth Form.  The ability to program in Python or Visual Basic .NET at a competent level is required.

The post will involve teaching Computer Science, Digital Literacy, esafety and ICT at various points across the range from Y7-Y13.  There will also be many opportunities for involvement in co-curricular STEM activities.

All students up to Y11 and staff within the School are equipped with their own iPads for school use. The Computer Science department has a large, well-equipped computing suite and there are extensive IT facilities.

The post would be suitable for an experienced teacher and would offer opportunities for further career development.
