The WMG Academy Trust Board are seeking to appoint a motivated, dedicated and aspirational Teacher of Computer Science / IT/ iMedia to join the team at the WMG Academy for Young Engineers.
WMG Academy is looking for an outstanding Teacher of Computer Science / IT / iMedia to join the team at WMG Academy. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting young people and determined to see all students achieve their best.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable ability to engage students between the ages of 14 and 19 and help to foster a safe learning environment. The ideal candidate will be a champion of the Academy’s ‘business-like, business-led’ ethos.
The WMG Academy for Young Engineers Multi Academy Trust was formed in March 2015. Following the successful opening of the Coventry Academy in September 2014, the WMG Academy Trust opened its second Academy in September 2016 in North Solihull.
Formed between a partnership of the University of Warwick and with the support of national, regional and local businesses such as Jaguar Land Rover, National Grid, and Rolls-Royce, the Trust is committed to providing a better way of learning for the Engineers of the future.

WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form in the West Midlands, serving students from the age of 14-18. The secondary school, situated in Solihull is a University Technical College (UTC), led by businesses and a university. Partners at WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull include The University of Warwick, WMG, National Grid, Rolls Royce and Jaguar Land Rover.
WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull opened in 2016. There is also another WMG Academy in Coventry, which opened in 2014. The Academy has purpose-built learning facilities, including dedicated engineering equipment and professional working spaces substituting classrooms.
