Queen’s Gate is a thriving GSA day school for girls aged 4 –18 and is ideally situated in Central London to take advantage of the many educational opportunities on offer.
We wish to appoint from 1st September 2017, a suitably qualified teacher with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other Science subject, to join our thriving and very successful department to teach Computer Science and technology at all levels up to and including A Level. Passion for the subject, outstanding teaching skills, a proven record of examination success at GCSE and A Level, a willingness to build up subject knowledge for the new Computer Science curriculum, a high level of creativity and enthusiasm for creating new resources and a strong commitment to giving all pupils the confidence to explore technology and to develop a broad set of technology-related skills, including programming, are all desirable requirements. Enthusiasm and a willingness to become involved in the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the School would also be beneficial. There may also be an opportunity to teach in our Junior School.
The position may be either part-time (around 80% of a full time-table) or full-time, if combined with another appropriate subject. Applicants should indicate whether they wish a full-time or part-time position; if the former, please state also what other subject(s) could be offered.
