About Oxford International College

Oxford International College (OIC) is one of the top-performing independent schools in the UK. Our pioneering approach to education meticulously prepares our students for success at the world’s best universities.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

At Oxford International College, every student follows their own pathway to success. Designed around your university ambitions, you’ll benefit from a three-pillared education that carefully combines academic excellence, personal development, and career preparation.

You’ll be guided every step of the way by some of Oxford’s finest tutors, who are all experts in their fields. They’ll equip you with the specialist subject knowledge and breadth of skills you need to achieve outstanding GCSE and A-level results. You’ll also enjoy a tailored programme of clubs, additional courses, and work and internship experiences that give you the extra edge.

Our students’ education is enriched by our central Oxford location, too. You’ll also be part of an ambitious international community where the brightest young minds inspire one another to be their very best.

HISTORY AND HERITAGE

Oxford International College (OIC) was established in 2002 by academics who wanted to pioneer a university model of tuition. This commitment to academic excellence, brought to life by specialist teachers, remains the same today. We now combine this focus with personal development and career preparation through our Supercurricular department. Together, these three pillars prepare our 15 to 19-year-olds for success at university and beyond.

In 2019, we proudly topped the UK Independent Schools A-level results league table. Ever since, our hard-working students have collectively achieved over 90% A* or A grades in their exams.

This success takes our students to the world’s top universities. In the last two years, one in three OIC applicants were accepted to study medicine at Cambridge. What’s more, over the past four years, more than half of our graduates have gone on to study at one of the UK’s G5 universities.

The college joined the Nord Anglia Education family of premium international independent schools in 2021. This gives our staff and students access to a wealth of resources, opportunities, and connections across the globe.
