Rodillian Academy seeks to appoint an inspiring and ambitious teacher of Computer Science to join our effective and dedicated team. Our staff are our most important resource and we provide a supportive framework for them to develop their skills as educators. ‘Teacher freedom’ is one of our core values; we want our staff to develop their pedagogy in a way that fits their own skills and expertise to benefit their students, and we do not have a prescribed format for lessons. Teachers make their own judgements about how to engage their students and how to deliver and embed content. We support our teachers’ professional development with a well-established coaching programme. This allows staff to improve their teaching with an assigned coach who acts as a ‘critical friend’ across the year to assist them in developing an identified area of their practice.
