Moreton School is a large secondary school serving our community in Wolverhampton, with catchment areas including Bushbury, Low Hill, and Scotlands. The school has a small Sixth Form and a Football Academy with links to Paris St. Germain, making it a unique and dynamic learning environment.

The Role: Teacher of Computer Science

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science to join our dynamic team of Computer Science professionals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our curriculum, as well as deliver engaging extra-curricular activities that inspire our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality computer science lessons to students across all key stages
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve and refine the computer science curriculum
• Develop and lead extra-curricular activities that enhance our students' learning experiences
• Contribute to the overall success and well-being of our school community

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at the secondary level
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to engage and inspire students
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Desirable Qualities:

• Ability to contribute to the development of the school's football academy
• Experience in curriculum design and implementation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for using technology to enhance teaching and learning
