Beths Grammar School is a large multi-cultural school on the borders between London and Kent serving a wide range of vibrant and exciting communities.  We specialise in boys' education in the main school and have a large, co-educational 6th form.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Computer Sciences, who is looking to join a small, dedicated team.

This is an exciting role for a talented and ambitious teacher.

At Beths we are passionate about education and believe that we need to be inspirational to support our drive to further raise standards of achievement within Computer Sciences.

The successful applicant will have energy, enthusiasm and excellent organisational skills.  They will be a reflective practitioner and be keen to innovate and share ideas.  They will have a proven track record of firm but fair discipline.  They will have a sound understanding of the new specifications as well as an ability to teach in all key stages.  They will be joining a supportive, self-reflective and collaborative team whose members are united in their ethos of providing excellence in learning and teaching for able studnets, who work very hard and are committed to continuous school improvement.

As a new member of staff, you will receive a laptop as part of your joining package.

As a Teacher of Computer Sciences you will:

be an outstanding classroom practitioner/have the potential and drive to become outstanding

the ability to plan and deliver lessons which fulfill appropriate learning objectives

an enthusiasm for Computer Sciences e in general  and the ability to transmit this to students

the ability to create your own resources and willingness to share good practice with other colleagues

Beths Grammar School is a popular selective boy’s grammar school with a co-ed sixth form and academy status.
