Teacher of Computing & ICT

We are seeking a well-qualified teacher of Computing and ICT to facilitate and encourage inspirational learning experiences. We would be looking to employ a teacher that could teacher and develop curriculums at all three Key Stages in which we offer Computing/ICT. Currently at Key Stage 3 we offer a computing education equips pupils to use computational thinking and creativity to understand and change the world. At Key Stage 4 we currently offer WJEC Level 1/2 ICT with the prospect of offering GCSE Computing in the future. At Key Stage 5 we currently offer the CTEC IT.

This role would be suitable for either an ECT or an experienced teacher.

Plumstead Manor is a thriving and popular secondary school located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. There has been a school on our site since 1913, with the first 105 years as a girls’ school. In response to local demand we admitted our first mixed cohort in 2018 and are now fully co-educational.

About the Department 

The department is currently made up of a mix of Computing/ICT teachers and Business teachers. Within Business we also offer GCSE, as well as A Level Economics and CTEC Business at both Extended Certificate and Diploma Level.
