Our opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, highly motivated and specialist teacher of Computing and IT to support our vision to transform the lives of young people in North Sheffield.
We are looking for someone who:
· is an inspirational teacher with a strong occupational background
· has the ambition to develop their career through Continuing Professional Development
· can work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of the department and the sixth form on our journey to ‘Outstanding’.
· can use their expertise and industry experience to deliver a high quality curriculum
· can develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of our learners in readiness for their next steps into higher education, training and employment
· has a proven track record of achieving good or outstanding results, though we also welcome applications from ECTs.
IT and Computing are extremely popular subjects within our vocational offer, with high proportions of learners progressing from Level 2 to Level 3 and beyond into higher education and related careers.

Longley Park Sixth Form is an ambitious and successful 16-19 Academy based in North East Sheffield and part of Brigantia Learning Trust.
