Valentines High School is a highly successful mixed 11-19 school enjoying Leading Edge Status. In September 2011, Valentines became one of the first 100 Teaching Schools in the Country. Valentines High School is a non-denominational, co-educational secondary school with sixth form in Ilford, Essex. Its motto translates from Latin as "in harmony, achieving excellence". There are approximately 1,291 students on the school roll. The school is proud of its diversity, with 78% of pupils speaking English as an additional language.
