Teacher of Computing

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Computing to join a busy and dynamic team. This is a permanent appointment and we will consider applications for full time or substantial part time (at least 0.6FTE) employment.
The successful candidate would be expected to teach Computing and ICT across a range of classes in Years 7-11 including GCSE Computing. The opportunity to teach A Level Computer science will be available for a suitably qualified and/or experienced candidate. Applications from newly qualified teachers with an appropriate academic background are welcome.
We will accept applications for substantial part time working, with a minimum of 0.6 FTE. Applicants with appropriate skills and interests may be asked to contribute to the development of the Computing Hub provision, and to our Digital Schoolhouse project which aims to support the development of computational thinking and digital literacy in local primary schools. A responsibility allowance may be available for candidates with suitable skills and interest to develop and support this wider work.
Langley Grammar School is a co-educational 11-18 selective school with academy status, located within easy reach of Langley station and the M4.
