Teacher of Creative Studies

Required for January 2018    

We seek to appoint a teacher of Creative Studies whose particular skill set is in Product Design.The person appointed will be able to teach at least to GCSE Level in Product Design. The ability to teach in Art, Food Technology or Textiles is also desirable. 

Davenant is recognised as an “outstanding school” by Ofsted. Academic standards are high (e.g. regularly gaining approximately 80% 5 A* - C’s including English and Maths). Many of our students move on to take degrees at university (including Cambridge and Oxford).   

We are situated close to the M25 and can easily be reached either from London or from the Essex/Herts. countryside. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Those appointed will have DBS checks and be expected to share this commitment.
