Ashton Sixth Form College is the founding organisation of Stamford Park Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust established in February 2019. All members of staff at Ashton Sixth Form College are employed by Stamford Park Trust.

The College is in the top 10% in the country for student progress on vocational courses and the top 

25% in the country for A Level value added.  The college achieved an "Outstanding" rating in its last Ofsted inspection in January 2020.  The college has been recognised as one of the top ten Sixth Form Colleges in the north-west and is a major provider of quality academic and vocational post 16 education. Teacher of Criminology (Maternity Cover) would suit a Sociology / Law teacher

Maternity Cover – Full time

Sixth Form Colleges’ Pay Grade NSP1 – NSP9 £25,570 - £41,732 per annum 

The College is seeking to appoint an inspirational and successful subject specialist to teach Criminology. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher with post 16 experience to join a cohesive positive team and make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of the area at a time of growth. Psychology and Criminology is the largest department at ASFC, with around 240 A1 students and 180 A2 students taking the AQA Psychology A-level and around 250 A1 and 150 A2 students completing the Criminology WJEC Level 3 Diploma.
