This is an exciting opportunity to teach on our BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma in Dance.
The College offers a Subsidiary Diploma (one A-level-equivalent) in Dance, which students can either take as a standalone option in combination with other courses offered at the College, or as part of an overall Extended Diploma in Performing Arts. We have a high-specification dance studio to enable this course to take place. The course has grown over time, and is an important component of our suite of Performance subjects. Our ambition is to be the area’s leading provider of post-16 performance subjects at level 3.
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated professional who:
⦁ has a strong understanding of a range of dance styles and choreography
⦁ is able to work flexibly with students who have a range of skills and preferences
⦁ can balance providing an accessible course with teaching technical skills in dance.
As a well-established and successful College we can offer:
⦁ a high-performing and professional working environment
⦁ a college-wide team of friendly and supportive colleagues, with a shared passion for learning
⦁ a strong commitment to professional development and staff well-being
⦁ excellent facilities (including low cost cafeteria and gym membership)
